![]() ![]() I finished off the face with patches of Warlock purple and Enchanted blue and decided the eyes should be made of gold to flow with the opulent Slaanesh style. Then came the task of picking out all those spikes again! An easy dab of mithril silver and then a wash of badab black did the job a treat. This model was a pain to build (each of those spikes on the leg and the breast are individual pieces too tiny to easily handle by hand and too angled to easily handle with tweezers) but a lot of fun to. Thing is, the GW model is terrible while the FW one is excellent. the raised arm and right leg i decided to follow the FW design style with a slick black latex look (fitting for any Slaanesh deity), this was easy to achieve with just a simple layer of black followed by a slap of black gloss, its such a simple thing and adds an extra level of sicklyness when used on bloody areas or in this case the ropey hair and large red tongue. Zarakynel, Keeper of Secrets I finally got around to finishing off this commission paint piece of the Forge World Keeper of Secrets, Zarakynel. Keeper of Secrets size difference Hi, I'm thinking of starting a Slaanesh Daemon army, and want to include a KoS to lead it. The problem I have is that I cant see having a Slaanesh army without the forgeworld Keeper of Secrets, since its so beautiful. I greatly prefer the Forge World Keeper, its a better representation of the Hellraiser 'pleasure through pain' theme. warlock purple, to tentacle pink, to bleached bone and a little skull white, this is my style of painting and its not seen me wrong so far! I then coated the horns and scythe arms in scorched brown and built up a bone finish with dry brushing bleached bone, washed aggrax earth and then dry brushed again bone. Though my Sisters of Battle project is still underway and far from completion, I cant get the idea of a Slaanesh army out of my head. now having never used a colour base before i absolutely panicked when it first went on, all the details disappeared and the whole model looked caked in paint! Luckily a friend of mine who was there at the time reassured me that having used this paint before, it does appear to go on like that but dries into details and it a very shiny finish so only appears to cover details, he was right! So i made a start on the model with several layers of dry brushing (as i always do). I was wondering since the next book is the Daemons of Chaos if we could get a Keeper of Secrets character as Slaanesh is currently the only Daemon God(dess). ![]() Now we reach the painting stage! Since i was going for a pink colour scheme i decided to prime with a Montana Gold Gonzo purple. Keywords: Forge World, Warhammer Age of Sigmar (AoS), Grand Alliance Chaos, Disciples of Tzeentch, Armies of The Warmaster, Daemons of the Ruinstorm, Chaos. ![]()
